If you have ever complained of one of the following statements below in the bullets, then you probably have restless legs (RLS). People with RLS can experience symptoms anywhere from 1-2 times a weeks to 7 days a week. What we have found is that as people get older the symptoms become more frequent and more intense.
It is not uncommon for an elderly person to suddenly begin to experience symptoms.
It is also not uncommon for someone in their 20's, 30's, 40's or even 50's to experience symptoms a few times a weeks to daily. We are also hearing from parents who are reporting thier young kids now experiencing symptoms.
If you have trouble sleeping because of a burning, tingling or creepy-crawly sensation in your legs or arms or you wake up in the middle of the night and find yourself tossing and turning, unable to fall back to sleep, you may be suffering from Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS).
